Taste by Design Ltd was launched in November 2006 and began trading from its current premises in Chapeltown Leeds, in February 2007.  The company started from a realisation that Somali and Middle Eastern cuisines were not represented in the catering sector in Yorkshire and Humberside.  This gap in service provision, along with an opportunity to create jobs for family and friends and  support the local community provided all the rationale Mohamed Yaseen, Director, needed to establish Taste by Design Ltd.
 
Members of the TBD team come from different cultural backgrounds.  Our cooks are not only Chefs by profession, they are Chefs with a passion. All our food is cooked and packed with the finest quality ingredients of traditional home cooking. Dishes are prepared fresh on the day and never purchased in bulk.
 
Incorporating the core ethics of traditional cooking skills from the Middle East and India, we take pride in our ability to deliver high quality food and a personalised service to all our customers. Our aim is to introduce potential customers across the region to new tastes and flavours that they might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience. 
 
We are currently offering our services to an extending network of customers across the public, private and voluntary sectors. Whether it is a conference, business lunch, or private party, we will work with you to design a menu that captures the imagination and tantalises the tastebuds. Our customers have the option of bringing together the flavours and atmosphere of any one of the three cuisines, or indeed a mix of them all! The choice is entirely yours.
